Anyone using the PRI flip up front sight that mounts to a rail? I just picked one up and need to know which way it's supposed to be mounted. I'm simple so photos would help.
Thanks

I dont have one on any of my rifles, but have put them on rifles for others. I'm pretty sure the official word is you can mount them either way. While nothing will come of you mounting it so the sight folds down towards the shooter, I believe they were meant to be folded sight towards the muzzle.

My PRI folds down towards the shooter with the low end of the ramp nearest to the muzzle. When mounted this way the sight post is at the rear of the hood when flipped up, just my preference. You could probably do either though.

Mine too. I sold my Troy for one. For me the PRI gives a better sight picture. It also is compatible with other AR sight posts if need be.
