Going to be getting a Beowulf, going to be using it for hunting. But I like the durability of the tac style scopes. I am looking for varible atleast to 8x But I need something with a lot of eye relief.  Any help would be appriciated.

I usually recommend a shotgun scope such as a Simmons ProDiamond...  That's going to be 4x or so though..

For a Beowulf you want an 8X scope???

FWIW I always though the Trijicon Accupoint 1.25X4 would be a perfect scope for that gun.  Eye relief is everything and the .50's effective range wouldn't justify anything over a 4X, but that's my take on it, YMMV.

I'd also look into an MGI Buffer, they're getting rave reviews in Beowulfs.

....lol.....I think I just talked myself into one!
