I am relatively new to this and I need some help. I have a flat top with the standard fixed front sight. I want to install a regular optical scope but I am concerned with getting the scope up high enough to clear the front sight. Is this possible or am I going to have to buy a new upper? thanks Larry |

You really do not need to worry if the scope has 3 or more power. If it does, then the scope will not see the tower other then a shadow in the lower center of the scope. The higher the power the less you see of the tower. Remember the scope does not start to see, until it is beyond the tower. |
