I've read several threads on people replacing their front sight with other types of flip ups and devices because they don't like it being in the way of their optics.  I want to keep mine intact.
What are the top several rails recommended to replace the standard handguards that came with my AR?  I see lots of pics.  They all lok great.  Are they easy to install?  Can I just flip the old ones out and install the rails without being a gunsmith?  I want to add a hand grip and light to my unit.
