maybe a larger FOV is just an optical illusion..look at comparative size of FOV screen with holes in side of metal protective housing

Looks like a larger window. Second shot looks like the Eothing hangs out more off the side of the receiver.

And the reticle looks fuzzier.                      <------------that part is a joke folks.

TV makes things appear that are not so.
Like an experimental EOtech, odd looking handguards, or an SKS being "an extremly deadly, high tech, state of the art, weapon"

perspective distortion - typical optical problem with wider angles and close-up / farther away items.
