Marked with an "F" near the gas tube roll pin on the front sight base.

Great, my new RRA isn't marked.

Does this mean I need a higher front sight post when I go to my BUIS?

Not necessarily.

If your your front sight postis up so high that it is coming out, you can get a taller front sight post from Bushmaster for a few bucks.

And by the way, only a few select manufacturers offer F-stamped front sight bases.  The only ones I know of are Colt, LMT, and some Stag.  Bushmaster, Armalite, Rock River, and many others do not use the taller FSBs.
