[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint Accessory?

I have seen a few glimpses of an additional optic (I think) located to the rear of an Aimpoint. Unfortunately this has been a fleeting glance and I didnt get the chance to ask about it. It looks similar to the Comp2. Anybody got any info on it? And does it serve as a magnification device of simply an accesory to the Aimpoint as far a night vision or IR?
