I recently purchased a Bushmaster M4A3 along with a EOTech 511.A65. I plan on mounting the EOTech on the flat top. My question is which would be a good rear sight to co-witness. I've looked at soooo many and am getting confused.. I don't care if it's a flip up type or not  just as long as it sights in center of my EO Tech. Thanks.....

All Irons are the same height.

Get the Troy for a flip, Larue for a fixed.

I would mount it too first. I don't know about anyone else, but I have the same setup you described. Right now I have a troy flip up on the back. However I don't like the sight picture or the front post sight right in the middle of the Eotech symbol. It distracts me and I find myself trying to center the dot onto the front post. I know I need to train more with it and this will go away. However I have some extra cash laying around for a christmas present to myself and think I am going to go with the RRA Dominator. This brings the sight up to clear the front sight, not removing it from the picture, but not laying them straight on top of one another. Iron rear sights can still be used, but I think this is better overall and quicker for me, since my range time is limited right now.

I think I'm just going to use the EO- Tech, co-witness using only the front sight. On my AK-47 I have a Kobra Tactical sight and I don't use the front sight at all. I might be better off doing the same on my AR. Just like you said and raise the EO-Tech. Thanks.....
