| I am building up my first AR. AR is on order and I can pick it up next week. I am getting a Bushmaster M4 Flattop. I bought a A.R.M.S. #40L SP BUIS and an EOTech 552. My question is will my fixed front site effect the view through the EOTech? Should I try to put on a fold down front site right away, or is this a non-issue? Thanks in advance. |
| As stated it really is a personal choice. Some folks can’t stand the clutter of having the sights in the EOTechs window. Myself, I ran a Cut Carry Handle BUIS with my EOTech for the last couple years. It really didn’t bother me but I did recently switch to a Matech BUIS. With out the CCH BUIS and only the FSB, the view is of course not as obstructed. With the ARMS #40 you should have the same results. Try the rifle out first with the standard FSB, if it bugs you then swap it out. |
