i dont have one yet, but am looking at getting an EOtech for my A4gery. does the optic go directly on the flat top, or is it better to get a new mount? if so, which kind? what about the RRA Eotech tac mount?

Works just fine on the flat-top. But customize to fit your needs.

I've got two EOTech's. Both are just secured to the upper with the provided thumbscrew.
