I recently purchased a Leupold MKIV 1.5-5X MR and mounted it on my rifle using extra high rings.  After using this configuration at a couple matches, I came to the conclusion that the Scope was mounted too low for me, and too far back (it was mounted as far forward as it would go in the rings on the flat top).

To solve this problem I purchased a Scout Rail from Hahn Precision.  With the high rings in place on it, it mounted at a perfect height for me.  The extended rail allowed me to mount the scope far enough forward to get the eye relief needed to use the scope properly.  The height of the scope is now similar to that of the CQTs I shoot with more often.  Hahn products are excellent quality, precision-machined aluminum and mil-spec hard coat anodized.  Hahn has recently expanded their line of products with a number of AR15 scope and light mounting accessories visit their site at www.hahn-precision.com

I went shooting with it today and sighted in the MKIV and OKO.  Having the scope at the correct height and eye relief improved my accuracy with this system considerably.

I was getting 1MOA groups supported shooting from the bench...which is not bad at all with XM193 out of a chrome lined barrel.  1.5-2MOA is the typical accuracy I expect from that combination.

Ditto on the Hahn Precision quality. The standards he sets his work to are high, the quality is great.
