I am looking at getting a night vision scope never used one or for that fact even looked through one Trying to decide between two scopes in the 500-700 dollar range

First the D-242 25mm Generation 2+ Catadioptric Weapon Sight 4X 28-38lp No IR

second Paladin MK390 Gen 1 4x 40lp with IR
