Before you flame me just hear me out.

With out paying $250+ for an older Colt model scope like the one pictured below, are there decent similar models out there worthy of some weekend plinking? I’ve heard of the cheaper scopes literally falling apart while shooting, is there a decently built copy of this scope to be had?

If it happens to have the name "Leapers" on it then stay FAR away from it.

I've seen some by NC Star, are these any good?

Hakko col-4211.

My understanding is that Hakko is who made the original Colt scopes.

I'm wanting one too for my A1

Thanks for the tip on the Hakko’s, looks like they run about $160. Wonder about the quality?
I’m wanting one for my CAR/GUU clone. I think it would be more authentic for the period.
