Greetings, I acquired an ACOG TA01. Is there a difference in mounts, as the mount that it comes with appears to be made to fit inside the carry handles. What I have found is that this mount only fits in about a third of the carry handles that we have, otherwise it is too wide by maybe a few hundreth's of an inch. The thickness of the side rails on carry handles varies a LOT by manufacturer. Depending upon how fond you are of each upper in question, this is nothing that can't be cured with a dremel. Before somebody hops in here shrieking about marring the finish: who cares? If you use your rifle for fighting, it's going to suffer some cosmetic degeneration. Get used to it. |
