I just bought a DPMS 24" Super Bull Barrel Upper with a 1/9 twist. I am torn between two scopes the Tasco Super Sniper in 10x or the I.O.R. M2. I realize that theze scopes are two entirely diffefernt types of scope but I want opions given my parameters. I will be shooting mainly at 250yds with some 100yd practice. I want to shoot at a 600yd range but there arent any within 3 hours of my location. Thats why I think the I.O.R. might be better with its 4X magnification. I wouldn't post this but I can never find anything useful with the search option.

You're posting in the wrong forum. You should be posting in the  Optics, Mounts, and Sights. You will get a lot more activity there

I don't own an IOR scope but another poster has said that the IOR M1 and M2 are "like looking through pond water."  Their other scopes are supposedly as clear as Ziess.  (both companies get their glass from the same manufacturer).  On my 5.56 AR 24" I used a 10x often at a 100 yard range.  I have since sold that rifle (big mistake).
