I'm confused about how the ball bearing seats under the windage knob on the rear A2/A4/NM sights. Are there pockets milled into the rear sight base to allow the ball bearings to move around? Or? |
| There is a pocket in the windage knob that holds the spring and detent, which mate up to the spherical pockets machined in the rear sight base and there is a pocket in the carry handle for the spring and detent, which mate up with spherical pockets machined on the bottom of the elevation adjust wheel. No pics right now, though. |
