I have been wondering about this optic replacing my EOTech lately. The variable magnification and its BAC has obvious advantages. However, I have been wondering about the clarity of the scope, both reticle and lenses. So for those that have one, how clear is the triangle reticle; is it crisp and sharp or just more of an oval? How does the lens clarity compare to normal ACOGs such as the TA01? TIA |
| I have an Accupoint 1.25x4 in red and a TA31.The clarity of the glass ,donut and triangle seem comparable in both scopes. With a little more practice I think I can be about as fast with the Accupoint as I am with my Eotech. In my opinion the Accupoint is a great scope. |

Hi chewbacca, I like the Accupoint but I would recommend the ACOGS over the Accupoint! www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks for AR15 Board Mike at CS Gunworks is... |

Dave Fortier does a write-up on the Accupoint (and other scopes) in The Book fo the AR-15 which should be at your local newstand now. He gives it high marks, including in the clarity department. Those who have them tend to love them. Here's some info: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=215966&page=11 |

I would like to see a review on the 2.5-10X56. I has lower and higher magnifacation than the 3-9. As to clairity I have used the 1-4 and 3-9 a bit and they are very clear scopes. The 1-4 was red and the 3-9 amber. Most seem to like red but the amber is more sharply defined to my eye. I have a TA50-4, (compact 3X with amber cross hair) and while I like it the Accupoint is much more clear. |
