| I have a Bushnell Holosight mounted on my AR. I was wondering if I can buy the metal cover like on the EOtechs and put it on my bushnell, to have a slightly sturdier bushnell/cheaper eotech? |
The short answer is NO. The Bushnell version lacks the extra material on its bottom sides that the EOtech's hood uses to ride on... this "extra material" is also where the EOtech's hood attaches with the 4 screws. Without the "extra material" there isn't enough material for the screws. Maybe this will help: (The bottom left picture shows the problem.)  . |
