im looking for a 1" tube diameter tactical scope (compact?).....this is because im stuck for having a 1" ARMALITE 1 pc. scopemount/ring.. is this kind of scope exist?

Leupold VX II 3-9X40mm with target turrets - $400 or less. An excellent choice. Even the one without target turrets is a good choice and is approx. $100 less at around $300 or less.

you could always sell the mount.
that way you wont be limited to a 1" tube

I can second the Leupold VXII 3x9x40. I just picked one up, used with mount and rings for $255 on Equipment Exchange. The scope is clear, bright and reeks of quality.

Look at the Weaver 3x9x40 Tactical. It has very good optics, and a front focal plane mil dot reticle.
