[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint mounts

Are the less expensive mounts any good? I was looking at the post from Mooney's on the EE. Two packages, one with the Aimpoint Weaver mount and one with the more expensive ARMS 22M68 mount. Is the Aimpoint mount good enough?

Also, is there a mount that allows a cowitness without a spacer?

If you're talking about the Aimpoint QRP, its good enough, but not the best.

You'd be far better off with a mount from LaRue, PRI, KAC or ARMS, the 1st three of which dont require a spacer.
