Looking to upgrade my AR's sling. Currently using a Boonie Packer BP42 sling (http://www.redi-mag.com/bp42-bk.php), but want to move to one that "hangs" the rifle on my chest when I let it go. I want to be able to "hang" the AR so I can grab my pistol off my hip. Currently, I have to re-position the sling and then grab my pistol. Rabbits don't wait that long! What's your recommendation for a sling?! P.S. Is a 4- or 6-position butt stock necesssary for this upgrade? |
| sounds like you want a 3 point or 1 point sling. poke around at Specter Gear. they have a slings that willl fit most stocks. the 1 point slings will require a special attachment though. you might want to check our sling forum. |
