I need some help identifying a scope that I acquired recently. It's an older, carry-handle mount 3X scope. I say older because the thing shows some signs of normal weear & tear. The O-ring seals also show significant signs of age. I have read about the Realist Scopes that came along in the mid-70's (?) to 80's for the military (again, ?), but can find little on them to refer to. All I know is the thing seems well-made, has good clear optics and holds its zero well. Also, I have seen all sorts of knock-off stuff out there in 4X, I have seen nothing in 3X, leading me to believe that I may have a descent scope on my hands. Any infor would be greatly appreciated.
