My MR/T is in ARMS 22 qd rings on an SPR Mod. 0 clone (ARMS 38 rail).  I have it adjusted so that it will also go on my Brookfield Precision Tool M14 mount.  I find that the rings fit quite a bit tighter on the BPT mount than on the ARMS 38.  If I swap this from mount to mount, will it "stretch" or otherwise effect repeatability?  Who should I call at ARMS?  Thanks in advance for the help.

I am going to take a guess and say that your BPT mount doesn't have rails that are in spec. They are most likely of the Weaver flavor. Your ARMS levers will stretch out over time and become loose on your #38 (eventually).

Thanks.  They will even become loose while only used on the ARMS38?  Is the Larue a better option for that reason (adjustable pressure)?  I would like something with a bit of interchangeability if I need it without changing rings, just zero.

The 22 rings will give years of good service as long as they are used on mil spec rails. The spring loaded feature in them does automatically compensate for rail variations, but there is a limit to anything.

I think the LT SPR mount is a better choice, but won't work with your setup. So you might want to look at badger rings (or some other quality rings) or just use the #22's until they become loose (which will eventually happen).

Got Badgers on my LRM3 scope.  Wanted qd and repeatability on my SPR Mod. 0 clone because heck, I probably shoot a tad better out to 200 with the open sights.  What happens when the ARMS 22 rings begin to wear?  Gets loose?

Buy a new scope for your other gun with standard rings and keep the scope with your #22's on it dedicated to that weapon. The levers will stretch out and become loose on the rail and they will shift everytime you shoot.

That sucks.  Good advice, that's what I've done.  I wanted to use an LRM3 on both my SPR and M25 clone and simply resight, not rering.  Badger mediums were a tad too low for the ARMS 38 rail (and I mean a tad) and Badger highs were too high for my liking on the M25.  Sigh.  SO, I ran across a brand new Leupold MR/T for $600, bought it for me for early Xmas, slapped ARMS 22's on it and it became optics for the SPR.  That's the correct thing anyway, as you noted.  Do ARMS 22's just tend to get slack on their own, or after repeated removal.  I like the open sights on my SPR.  Any other suggestions for this app. other than ARMS 22's?

Well since you have the #38SPR rail on there I would just stick with the #22's. If you go directly to the flattop I would go with the LT SPR mount. I know of many folks have issues with their ARMS throw levers wearing out over time and becoming loose on your rail....
