I am looking for a one piece quick detachable scope mount for my SPR.  I want to be sure that I can retain my zero if I take this thing on/off.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

P.S.  > I think the LaRue SPR mount is a little too much right now..

ArmaLite makes an excellent one piece mount.

Actually, a pair of LaRue QD rings returns my scope to zero very well on my SR-25. However, you may or may not be able to get the eye relief you need without being able to set the scope further forward than you can with rings that go directly on the flatop. In my case, an A-2 stock took care of that problem quite satisfactorily.

Luck,

The Military chose the ARMS #22 throw lever rings for both models of the MK12 SPR sniper rifles, in both hts., med and high depending on which model SPR as shown thru this web. by several. I don't have any pic's except in my Black Rifle book-2.

You really should spend the cash on the Larue mount if you want the best.  It is also the easiest to use from what I have experienced.  I had to bite the bullet and buy one because I figured I had already spent all of this money on my AR, why cheap out now?

I have a RRA Hi-Rise scope mount that is totally 1 piece, "quick detach" (depends on how fast you spin those knobs off) and will hold zero.

The eye relief is fine on my 24" AR-15. My scope has a 3" eye relief, and with the scope pushed forward it's giving me the right eye relief.

It's not a LaRue, ARMS, or LMT... but it works fine. It's machined out of solid aluminum stock.

I use an ARMS 19 on my AR scope, I like it.

Spend the money once, get the Larue.
