I'm new to my AR and I'm trying understand how the rear sight works.   Can someone tell me what the flathead screw with the up/dn arrows does?  I see the dial adjustments for elevation and windage, but don't know what the screw head adjustment is for.

The screw holds the windage nob on. It's not an adjustment. The up down arrows indicate which way you turn the elevation wheel to adjust up and down.

Great, thanks for the information, it helps a lot and its hard to believe how hard it is to find something that explains something so simple.

You can download one from the Information button (above) check in the Downloads area.  I highly recommend it.
