Alright. I have an eotech and part of the reason I got it was I don't understand how to mount the aimpoint. Now I am going to build a rifle at the beginning of next year and I want an aimpoint on this one. I like the cantileaver look. I want it to cowitness. Now is all that I need is the 22M68 and the 22m68 spacer cantileaver mount? If I wanted it w/ no cantileaver I need the 22M68 spacer, just the block looking one? What is this talk of the 38 sleve. Is this just the quick release base. Please somebody explain this to me. I promise I will remember from now on. Chris |
Yes.
Yes, you would need the "full spacer" in that case. However, if you arent going to get a cantilever mount, then go with Larue Tactical Aimpoint high mount.
Swan sleve is a base that coveres your AR15 flat top rail. Will have an integrated ARMS BUIS in the back, and can come in many lengths. They are handy if you have items to mount that dont want spacers for, or dont have spacers as an option, or if you want a solid long mounting platform to extend a lot further out on the hanguards. I dont have a lot of use for them myself, but seen some pretty cool rigs with them. |
