In one rotation of the dial on the side of an EOthing, how many MOA will the POI move?  How does this corrospond with the stamped dots?

Thanks

Tex;

The clicks on the EO adjustments are nominally 1/4 moa. However, I've never seen one that actually adjusts to these parameters. Sometimes one click won't move the POI at all and sometimes one click will move you 1.0 MOA.

Consequently, it takes a little time, patience, and ammo to get an EOthingy properly zero'd. Ergo the popularity of LaRue QD mounts. You can remove/remount the zero'd EO without having to go through the whole laborious re-zero process again.

Luck,

SD

My Eotech 552 manual states that each click is 1/2 MOA.

+1

SD's observations seem to mirror my own.  One thing's for sure, the LaRue's QD/Return to Zero capabilities are a god send...
