[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question for Aimpoint 7000S Users

Just curious if anyone has any experience with this Aimpoint model. I found a pretty good deal (at least I think so) on one of these and was considering picking it up. Appreciate any feedback.

Not that it's any help at all, but I once had a 5000, non XD model. Fine scope, but a little dim, so they came out with the XD

Thanks for the replies. I just got the 7000S in the mail yesterday and, while I don't have any other experience with Aimpoints for reference, it seems like a really nice optic. The glass is clear and the dot is nice and crisp. I hope to get it out to the range this week to test it out.
