Which BUIS will work with a standard front sight base and post?

Thank you

Caser, any will work with the standard FSB.  The big argument is which BUIS to get.  LOL

Some BUIS require the +0.040" front post (ARMS#40). It is a $5 item from BM.

No SOME RIFLES require it.  My 2 Bushmaster's certainly didn't need the taller front sight post and they both run ARMS#40s...

My LaRue BUIS, and my GG&G A2 BUIS both work fine with my stock BM front sight.

caser

In all honesty, just go with the BUIS that fits your need and don't pick one based on if you can use the standard post. The +0.040 posts are are availabe from BM for $5 and take a minute to install.

Forest, thanks for the correction. BM recommends the +0.040 sight post wiht the ARMS#40, but like you, I did not need one either. I should have mentioned that in my original post.

And I know you are going to ask caser, so YES mine is a factory BM upper
