I ordered a BED-30 from scopes n more on 07/17 and they shipped it out on 07/19 and it was sposed to arive on 07/26 well that was the plan until the apes at UPS stuck.  Turns out they cannot read an address or reenter an address correctly and about the time that they figure out that they are friggen idiots they ship the scope back to the sender.

Grrrrrrrrrrr!  I am frustrated as hell.  Was going to sight in my scope this weekend.
Log story short, I started calling UPS about the same time that they listed the address as wrong.  Yep called and spoke to their reps and verified the address.  Well, I guess the rep has screwed up fingers or something cause they changed an apartment 105 to an apartment 103 even after verifying a 105 with me a couple of times.  Yep so the next day they say its the wrong name, go figure.  Call UPS and bitch at several supervisors to make something happen and sure enough they did, the scope is being shipped back groud to the sender.  Here is to 2 more weeks without a scope for my poor little AR.  What really sucks was that after fussing at UPS forever, I finally got in touch with someone who had some authority and they call Scopes and more to try to arrange to have another one shipped since the other one is on the way back the slow way and they were told that they would wait until they get the shipped one back.  Learned my lesson, next time Ill buy local and not screw with getting something shipped.

Did I mention that I hate UPS.

I had a package shipped by Fedex last year.  The driver pulled up to the rental office and noticed I didn't live there so he returned the package to the terminal where it sat for the next 3 weeks until i was able to locate what had happened to it.

At least they held it there.  In this case the idiot just shipped the sucker back even though I had been communicating with the shipping office for a couple of days straight.

In the future, get the sender to forward the tracking # and periodically check it on-line.  If there is a problem, you will see it.  I have had excellent results (most of the time, a couple of oops, but they were corrected quickly) with UPS.  Not to bash the other "guy" but I prefer US Postal Service Priority Mail or UPS.  I have a facility in town, and after the first attempt if not home, will call and pick it up there.  I have done this often enough, their employees know me by name (reloading supplies, optics, parts, etc...) and have even seen me walk in and have the item when I get to the window.   No, I don't work for UPS, as you might figure from the screen name, just wanted to take the opportunity to stand up for their service.

One time, when I REALLY needed a part I missed, after talking with a supervisor, the driver called and advised a location to meet him at.  While they normally don't do that, it was exceptional.

I have had "other" delivery companies refuse to hold at a facility, or worse, leave a $500 item on a doorstep.

Remember they all handle lots of packages and will occasionally have problems.

Believe me I did track it.  I called UPS many times and spoke to several supervisors before they sent the package back.  I corrected the address the first day.  The second day i caught it right away and called UPS and spoke to everyone and their brother there.  But the driver was across town and would not go back by and deliver it the second day.  I raised holy hell over that one and received a guarantee that it would be delivered the next day.  But the dumbass driver sent the thing back return to sender.  Think that I will stick to shipping Fedex from now on and will choose to do business only with companies who ship fedex.

You think there bad try dealing with airborne express"DHL",I had a terrible time with them two weeks ago on a dig.cam. It was an overnight delivery from memphis, next day delivery, well day one shipper said it had been picked up airborne said they had no record through their scan system, this shit went on nearly a week, finnally i called the shipper and said if they culdnt get it straight then fuck it,keep their dawm cam.,i'll get one elsewhere. That must have hit a note ,i had it by 11:30 that day, although i dont know who was at fault,so i dont know who to blame
