I am considering putting a US Optics SN-4 on my AR.  I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their setup with an SN4 and would be willing to share their experiences with the SN4 good and bad.  Thanks for you help.

I purchased a used SN-4 from another member and have been very happy with it.  It has the circle bracket Parvin illuminated reticule.  As for the battery life, it was powered on when I received in from the UPS guy... and is still going strong.  I can effectively use it BAC style at higher power, but it is not as fast as the 3x compact ACOG I have on another carbine.  I've even used it OEG style with the front lens cover closed.  The ACOGs have much more foregiving eye relief ranges that don't require an almost perfect cheek weld to get a good sight picture.

For a carbine, I would choose the ACOG over USO based on more foregiving eye relief and weight alone.  My SN-4 makes any AR I have excessively top heavy... so it will ultimately reside on a future 7.62 rifle project I have yet to begin. YMMV.

I love my SN-4, and will eventually put it on a 7.62 rifle, but for now it is not a god fit for me on any of my AR-15s.  HTH

Great scope, but heavy as hell.  That's the deal breaker.
