Okay, I once had a TA-01 and wish I never got rid of it (had to sell it for bills). Now I am going to get another ACOG, and would like to know the practical explanation of what "BAC" is. As I understand it, the TA-01 does not use the BAC, but the TA-31 does. Could someone clue in a clueless fella? -U- |

Go here. At the bottom of the page is a demo. This will explain everything. www.trijicon.com/aiming.cfm |
| Basically, it's like a red dot (Aimpoint, Eotech, etc.) while the rifle is moving and both eyes are open. If righthanded, your right eye picks up the illuminated reticle while your left eye picks up the target (unmagnfied). The reticle is superimposed onto the target similar to an OEG. Once movement stops, your focus will be on the magnified target and the reticle should be on if not within an acceptable target area for a short distance shot. Hope that helps. |
At a few yards (under seven and maybe closer to four) can keep the ACOG aiming point floating while using my left eye to view the target / room. |
