low/lower profile thumb screw for the detachable carry handle ? Looking for a less snag prone alternative to the stock thumb screw.

I'll bet if you took the screw part to the hardware store you might find a nut and washer that would work. You would need a wrench to attach / detach, but it would be low profile .
