| I have a stock Colt AR-15 with removalble carry handle. The rear sight is mounted in the carry handle. I would like to replace the carry handle / rear sight with a scope mount and scope that would attach to the picatinny rail. Can someone tell me what type of equipment I should be looking for to use as the scope mount (I assume it should be high enough so the scope looks over the top of the front sight)? I would like to have it removable just as easily as the carry handle, so that I can swap back to using the carry handle and the stock rear sight. Thanks for any help. |
