| Where can I find one of these? I realize that they are hard to get... but no one in the universe seems to have any in stock. |
| The 3x is only 1x shy of the TA31f, but I would rather wait for the full size. The compact, while being shorter and lighter, doesnt have the BDC and cant be had with the chevron reticle your looking for. Keep checking the equipment exchange and consider a TA11f. Thats a much more comparable optic. |
|
The only weakness of Compact ACOG (that I know of) is its relatively limited field of view. My dad has one and I didn't notice it until I got TA31 and wow, Compact ACOG looked like looking through a straw after playing with TA31. But Compact ACOG is still THE optic when it comes to mounting on the carrying handle. |

I bouaght both my TA31F and TA11E from SWFA, I just kept calling them and getting updates, as soon as either was in stock bought them on the spot. One was bought about a year ago and the other six months, don't know what the status is right now. Their pretty good at matching other peoples prices as well. Or check Ebay on a reg basis. LEST WE FORGET |

Put a post in the WTB forum here on Arfcom and here. I put a post up on 5/25 looking for a TA31 and I had a response a few days later from a guy selling a NIB one. She arrived today. |
| In late 2001/early 2002, when these came out, I was talking directly with Trijicon about this exact same model (TA31F with chevron), and was really wanting to get one. However, they were expensive and on back order due to the war. I've never seen one yet. hough, |
What kind of $'s we talking? Don't get me wrong, I've got no problem paying for something, if I want it bad enuff! Just curious what they're going for, with the demand so high, with the war going on? teamroper2004 |
I paid $900 for mine. It's NIB and came with the case, all paperwork, lens pen, and scopecoat. |
