| Looking for any advice good or bad on the Hakko line of scopes. Putting it on a R/R LAR-15. I really need the advice. |
| Other than their "reflex" line of red-dot optics (which are excellent BTW) I can't FIND anyone who actually has any of their optics in stock. On their website, they list several 4x scopes for AR15's that I'd LOVE to have... The only place I've found that claims to carry them charges TWICE what it would cost to buy them straight from Hakko! |
I'd love to take a look at one of these, but can't find one. |

I found these Hakko dealers with a Google search: www.rightontargetguns.com/products/Scopes/Hakko/Hakko.htm www.webarms.com/scopes/Hakko/hakko.htm www.centuriontactical.com/hakko-scope-4x21.htm Hakko is a huge subcontractor, and makes scopes for numerous manufacturers. You must be talking about their 4x21 AR scopes? If so Hakko made similar scopes for Beeman, Colt's, C-More, etc. There was also a Marksman Combat Elite series, that use to be on the market some years ago. Brian is selling some Hakkos with C-More logos on them: www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=108998 Here is a review of the C-More/Hakko Brian is selling: ' target='_new'>www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=106407 I use to have a Marksman Combat Elite, it was a OK optic. I did buy a couple of the C-Mores from Brian, just cuz they were decent scope at a reasonable price, and you can buy from Brian in confidence. Allows me to remove my Aimpoints and install the C-Mores for load development purposes, and fun plinking. The mount is too low, needs a 3/8" riser to put it in the correct spot, the windage knob does not have audible clicks, in fact you can't feel them at all. The elevation index works backwards. The mount is kinda cheesie, looks like a B-Square product. The darn thing is heavy too, weighs over a pound (think they have 11 lenses). It does have external windage adjustments, and a BDC, both handy dandy items.
Really, you can buy them direct? |
Seriously though, the C-more or Colt's 4x21 is a Hakko scope. Only difference is the logo, and the C-More has the optional "target" windage knobs:![]() ![]() BTW, there are only a handful of scope manufacturers that actually make their own optics in the US. Lots of info here: www.charm.net/~kmarsh/scope.html |
