Does the kill flash for the aimpoint red dot scopes make the dot more visable in bright light. Because on some really bright days its hard to see the dot. Thanks.

The ARD does in fact darken the sight picture thereby allowing the dot to appear brighter in comparision. Should the dot appear washed under bright lighting conditions you can always close the front cover and use the 2 eye sighting method.

Seem to recall 15% but even that seems rather high.

Shooting with both eyes open you don't even notice.
