| Whose got the best price? Which model should I order (I like the big circle with dot in middle)? What difference does the battery type make? Thanks. |

Dump, forgot to add which one to get. Well, that depends on your budget, use of batteries, space on your rail, and use of night vision. The make a 510 series (tactical) and a 550 series (military & night vision compatable) the last digit in each series denotes the battery used. 1=N type batteries (small, but not as much run time, and they cost more). 2=AA type batteries. (longer, cheaper, lasts longer)(BTW the BATTERIES are cheaper, the 550 series costs more than the 510 series) Although both are waterproof, the 550 series are submersable to 30 feet. They also have the raised rubber buttons. (Althought I hear that the 510 series is getting the buttons too) I have a 552 model (military NV/AA batt). A 511 model would be a tactical series with N type batteries. It sounds a lot more confusing than it is. Just call or e-mail Grant. He will walk you through it and give you a great price.
