I have a varmint rifle that I am putting togather. I was looking at this scope,

Millett Buck Gold Varmint Target Special
30mm Tube 4-16x 56mm Adjustable Objective
Plex Reticle Matte.

I have never heard of them. Has anyone heard anything about them? Good or bad? Thank you, Phessor

I havn't heard of it, but anything that big for an abjective lens gives you noi more ability that real gov't issue snipper scopes do. However that big lens is also a bear to mount and puts your head much higher than needed. The so called extra light gathering is fine, but the eye can't accept more than the 40mm's, so 56mm is of no more help at any low light level.
