Has anyone had any performance problems with the inexpensive tactical "NCstar" scopes?  I have 2 AR15's, and I have one of their 4x red/green illuminated scopes on each gun.  I have sighted both of them in, yet after shooting about 300 or so rounds, I am noticing that things are off to the left, or the right.  I have had one other person shooting my guns, and they have run into the same problem.  Yes, the scope is mounted tight onto the scope mount, and the scope mount is mounted tight onto the handle.  We have both noticed our groups moving to the left for example.  So we re-sight in, things are OK for awhile, then it changes.  I got desperate, and unmounted my Leupold 6.5x to 20x EFR scope that was on my Anschutz 22LR 1710D, and mounted the scope onto my AR, and I have not had a problem yet with my groups wandering(although it does look funny having the big scope on top of the carry handle).

No offense, but when you buy cheap crap, you can expect crappy results. Good optics cost good money.

I would agree with Gus. You proved the NCStar scopes aren't so good when you swapped it out for your Leupold. Even Tasco or Bushnell would be a better choice than the NCstar. Good Luck
