Can the brightness of the Aimpoint be turned up high enough to make the dot seem more like an 8 MOA dot?  What kind of lighting conditions would this require?  Can the brightness go high enough that you could do this in bright lighting conditions?  I was thinking this could be useful in CQB out to 200 or so yards, what do you think?

If you have it turned up too bright for the ambient light, it kind of 'blooms' and seems larger than it is.  It is a blurry dot at this level, and I am not sure it would be an advantage.  If you are outdoors in the sunlight, you most likely can't get it that bright.
