All on A3 16 inch with carbine handguards..

ARMS #40 BUIS, ARMS #38 EX Sleeve, ARMS 22M68

ARMS #40 BUIS, ARMS 22M68, Cantilever spacer

ARMS #40 BUIS, ARMS 22M68, KAC RAS II FF

What is the placement of the Aimpoint with repsect to each of these configurations
(height and forward)?

Pro's con's of either?

Does the RAS II FF provide more or less effective FF than the 1 piece FF M4 RAS?

All three setups place the AimPoint at the exact same height (assuming you're mounting the AimPoint on the bridge of the RAS II).

The #38EX will give you more options front-to-back to mount your AimPoint, but it would be my last choice, as it adds a lot of unnecessary weight.

Of these three setups, I'd go with the RAS II, because you get a great AimPoint setup plus gain a free-floated barrel and much better cooling over standard handguards.  Using an AimPoint means that the RAS II bridge is not a liability for you, as it might be with someone who wanted to mount a conventional (long) scope.
