[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ARMS #40 Question...

Is it possible to replace the apertures that come standard with the #40 sight, with the apertures from a mil-spec A2 sight? In other words, can they interchange?

Oh yeah...and how difficult is it to remove/replace the apertures? Anything I need to watch out for (like springs/retainers/detents,etc)?

Yes and also with the AO (or whatever they are calling themselves these days) single plane apperature.

If you don't already own own a #40, you can always just buy a #40A (which has the standard A2 in it). Or you might just be able to call ARMS and ask if they will sell you one.
