I have a bushy flatop / removable carry handle.

I am going to puton an Aimpoint.

What is the magnification on the CompM2? Is there any?

I think I can figure out the mount situation on my own...just wondering.

How do folks out there like their Aimpoints? I'll be using this config for plinking at 100-200 yards, mostly.

I like my ML2...best of the red-dots, IMHO.

Magnification is 1x (no magnification)

Whatever you do DO NOT GET THE 2X VERSION! Its got a horrible field of view. The majority here hate it.

Aimpoint is an excellent choice. you will love the capabilities. for shooting at 100-200 yards, you might be better off with a 4x scope, but if you do a lot of CQB to 200 yards, you are right on the pipe with the Aimpoint.

I like the look of that setup...what type of mount is that?

Also, should I go with the flip-up sights on the rear of the flatop for backup?
