I have a TA11 on order.  It will be put on my RRA flat-top and used for 3Gun, etc.

In the absence of any rail, it looks like my mounting options are:

TA51,
ARMS #10,
ARMS #19ACOG,
ARMS #19S.

The TA11 has two screw holes on its bottom rail, correct?   If so, I would prefer to use two screws to hold the ACOG to the mount.

Will the TA11 fit properly on the #19S ?
Can I use two screws with the TA11 + #19S ?

Will the #19S allow the TA11 to be mounted more forward on the flat-top rail than the #19ACOG would?

Does anyone have a picture of the TA11 + #19S configuration?

thanks
Zak

The TA11S has two screw holes although the scope comes with one, IIRC.  Drop by the hardware store and pick up a spare.  The 19S is a perfect fit and is basically the exact length of the ACOG foot.  It also allows the use of both screws.

From the picture posted by MSTN, it looks like the #19S has four holes drilled.

Why 4 if only 2 are used?

Yes,

The TA11 will fit with no problem on a ARMS #19S.

Here is an example of what Troy talked about regarding forward mounting:

In the configuration posted by      Bartholomew_Roberts, can two screws still be used?

Yes, in that picture the scope is mounted with two 10/32 screws.

IMHO the #19s " IS " the perfect mount for the TA11

Is some space UNDER the rear of the #40 normal?

I have a couple sheets-of-paper-width of clearance?

What if mounting on the #38 sleeve super ext mod on my spr rifle? The TA11 on the 19s on the #38. Will it be too high?[img]http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/dcobra223/vwp?.dir=/ar+stuff&.src=ph&.dnm=SPR.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.yahoo.com/bc/dcobra223/lst%3f%26.dir=/ar%2bstuff%26.src=ph%26.view=t[img]

It will be high.
"Too high"?
That's up to you.
Personally, I'd just stick an ARMS#40 behind it.
The additional height of the 38 serves no purpose here, if you don't want it.

TA11 on 19S, + ARMS #40,
is there still room for RAS II?

Kisara I don't have an ARMS #40 but a KAC 300M but I think their mounting position is the same, so it should fit.

Set the TA11 on my rifle today and its so sweet! Not too high for me. Now all I need is some range time, just me and my TA11. Thanks guys.

Thanks, maybe I'll just stick with the K-300 on that rifle to "Keep it all Knight's".   The 40 can stay with my future SIR, when/if they make an M model of the Bi-Level.
