The 3.5-15x50 & 56 have 110 moa of travel and the 5.5-22x56 has 100 moa of travel as by Nightforces specs. My question is how many moa's of actual travel do these scopes really have? Do they have the full amount of specified travel?

My other question is about the NPR2 reticle.
Do both the 3.5-15 and 5.5-22 scopes have the same reticle graduated in 2 moa increments with a total of 30 moa's. 10 moa's above the horizontal and 20 moa's below?

I would appreciate it if you guys could answer my questions. Thanks.

One thing that many overlook is to match the base to the intended range.  If you are mounting on an AR15 and shooting out to 5-600 yards, not a big issue, but on a .308 to 1000 yards you will have enough elevation, but will be very limited on windage at the longer ranges.  Many of us have learned this the hard way!

If you can match your approximate trajectory and intended ranges to a forwarded canted base of 10, 15, 20, 25 degrees, you should be able to "center" your reticle in the scope's erector range at your normal maximum range.  By doing this you will have maximum windage adjustment at maximum ranges, just where you need them. Since your "100 yard zero" will be towards the bottom of the adjustment range, you will have less windage adjustment available at the shorter ranges, but you will still have plenty.
