I have a Bushy M4 with a newly mounted fixed rear A2 sight from Bushmaster (thanks to fizassist). My question is with this fixed rear sight do I have enough room at the front of my rail to mount the 552? Can the 552 be mounted more forward on the rail, like if I needed the room could it hang over the front foregrips? Basically just wondering if there is room for both. Thank you guys! |

I assume you have a flat top receiver with A chopper carrying handle?? If that is the case, you won't have enough room on the receiver rail for a 552. again, this depends on the handguard you got. if you have the regular CAR handguard, you can mount the EOTech on the second to third rail on your receiver. this will push the optic far forward enough to clear the carrying handle sight. |
| sorry, yeah, it is a flat top M4. I put the bushy fixed rear sight at the far back of my rail. In the pictures I have seen of the 552 on AR's it looks like it takes up most of the rail. But, if it can be mounted slightly forward I think it might fit. Or would I be better off with an Aimpoint mointed with that forward mount you can get for them. |

I'm assuming that it should work. Can anyone tell me the overall length of the 552 and the 551. Maybe I should just get the 551 to be safe. Unless there is someone out there with a 551/552 that can tell me how much room they have at the back of their rail with the sight(s) installed. Thank you! |
