I am narrowing down my details/choices on an M3 shorty upper - 16" barrel. Now do I understand correctly that if I stick with a standard A2 front sight as opposed to a pop up/folding front sight, there will be no visual interference when mounted with a scope back on the receiver?

I will alternately (depending what I am doing) either have a scope (4-12 probably) and an EOTech or similar dot sight. Mark

So in order to not have one more thing to lose or go wrong, can I safely go with a standard, fixed front sight without interference?

Many thanks
