Hooah. I am the proud new owner of a BUSHMASTER M4. I am in need of some help. I am looking to buy a red dot scope for my M4 but I do not know what exactly to look for. I am looking to spend at least $150 dollars on a scope but I dont know which one is the best buy for my money. If you all could lend me a little help on this topic I would appreciate it very much. HOOAH! RLTW |

Look around the exchange board, you might be able to find an used Aimpoint M or ML-XD for sale around 200, it is an excellent optic for your M4. Aimpoint M-XD is the same optic that won the US army bid to supply them with thier issued COO. Bushnell Holosight can be had for around 200, you will be able to find refurbished model for around 180 dollars, this is basically the civilian version of ther EOTech. OKO make a decent range optic, this can be had for around 200. Tasco Pro-point is another good choice, you might be able to find a Pro-point for around 100 dollar and it comes with a 30mm ring. I use Tasco Pro point for a long time, had some problem with it, but what can you say for 100 dollars. Do you have a carrying handle M4 or flat top?? that will determine your mounting solutions. |

Hello M4CarbinesSF, another good choice is the HAKKO optic. It features 4 reticle options, has a screw in glass lens protector, a dust cover, uses a standard watch battery, comes with a weaver mount and is light weight. They run about $200.00. Another option is to go with an EOTech 502.A65. They run about $230.00. I know that you only wanted to spend around $150.00, but for a little more you could be into a good optic. As SMGLee stated, watch the EE forum for a used EOTech or Aimpoint...
