| I need some input on how to mount an eotech on an A2 setup. It looks like I can go with mounting on one of those carry handle mounts with the see-thru channel for using the iron sights. Or I could us a cantilevered mount which allows co-witnessing both sights. THe cantilever sounds good but does it push the eotech to far away? Can the eotech be used without co-witnessing by simply looking over the irons with this mount? |
| Yes,the eotech can be mounted on top of the A2 carry handle,though this is not the preferd method. Square B,A.R.M.S.,and a couple of other manufacture's supply these type of see through mounts. My eotech is currently mounted on A2 only cause I'm waiting for my flat top upper to arrive and be installed!! By the way I am shooting 1/2' MOA at 50yd with 14.5' bbl....I LOVE MY EOTECH....If you can't affored a flattop upper then get a cantilever type mount to cowittness the irons. I suggest a benny cooley mnt or somthing comparable. |
